This private residence, located in North Ontario, is designed to be constructed with materials that complement the natural surroundings, such as locally sourced stone and wood. The design would incorporate large windows that provide expansive views of the surrounding trees and the stream running through the rocks

The client for Rocky Residence, wanted that this weekend retreat to have modern luxurious feels but most importantly the residence needed to provide something different and unique. It needed to embrace the surrounding landscape seamlessly and created a harmonious relationship with the wilder side of nature. 

A stone house that is cut out between natural rocks would be a unique and breathtaking architectural design, offering a one-of-a-kind living experience that is fully immersed in nature. The house would be built using locally sourced stone and would blend seamlessly into the surrounding rocky landscape.

The design has an industrial-like aesthetic, but also a cozy and warm atmosphere, making use of natural light and a minimal ornamentation to avoid any clash with nature.
